Enhanced DBS Check

Enhanced DBS checks are available to people who work with vulnerable adults and children and therefore includes further data.

An Enhanced DBS check includes:

  • Spent or unspent convictions,
  • Cautions,
  • Warnings,
  • Reprimands
  • Any other additional information from the local police that is relevant to the job role.

Enhanced DBS checks can either be carried out with or without a barred list search, depending on whether the role meets eligibility requirements.

As a result Enhanced DBS checks are used for roles within Healthcare, Dentistry, Childcare, Education etc. Most Enhanced DBS checks return within 48 hours with our online process.

Basic DBS Check

A basic DBS check can be requested for ANY JOB POSTION or PURPOSE.

This differs from the Standard or Enhanced check that is only available forĀ  specific job roles.
