Enhanced DBS Check

Enhanced DBS check is available to people who work with vulnerable and therefore includes further data. Enhanced DBS provides data held by: Police force, Department for Health and Education as well as Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).
As a result Enhanced DBS check is used for roles within Healthcare, Dentistry, Childcare, Education etc. Most Enhanced DBS checks return within 72 hours with our online process.

Disclosure Scotland

Disclosure Scotland is available for people living and working in Scotland. Disclosure Scotland is carried out by the Government organisation ‘Disclosure Scotland’.
Disclosure Scotland searches for convictions on an individual in order for companies to make an informed decision when hiring. This check is recommended before employing candidates around vulnerable groups. Disclosure Scotland usually takes up to 7 days to process.

Volunteer DBS Check

Volunteer DBS check is for individuals who wish to undertake unpaid work. Volunteer DBS check is free of charge.

Organisations or individuals only pay administration costs for processing.

The DBS guidelines for a voluntary role are strict therefore our account manager can assist you with information on volunteer eligibility. Some examples are humanitarian workers and charity workers. Most checks usually take up to 72 hours to return.

ISA First Check

ISA First Check is commonly used in healthcare sector. Requests for the ISA check are available to any enhanced DBS disclosure. ISA First check is appropriate where a person intends to work with both children and or adults. ISA First check allows an individual to be checked against the Barred Lists first. Dependent on the result of the check, this service allows the individual to start work under supervision while waiting for their full Enhanced DBS certificate.
